SEEING THE BIG PICTURE: A LESSON FROM LEGO’S

Doing more stuff doesn’t always lead to success. [Tweet This]

My kids love building with Lego’s. In fact, I enjoy it probably just as much as they do (if not more.) What I love about a brand new box of Lego’s is the big picture. The end result is what is exciting. You open the box and out comes a pile of little pieces, with clear instructions on how to get to the end result.

Resolutions, goals, plans — call them whatever you want, the big picture is what matters the most. What does the big picture look like? What kind of difference do you want to make? Once you have a clear understanding of where you want to GO, the key is to start building, piece by piece.
